Art of Letting Go

As time goes by, people are afraid to let go of something especially love. Love that cannot be forgotten, love that you never experienced. Yes, you are inlove with her, you care for her, but she is not inlove with you nor like you. You are just fooling your self that someday you and her will be together but it's not gonna happened because she is inlove with somebody. So, what are you waiting for? let go! Forget her! Find another woman that will love and accept you for who you are. Don't be stupid and hilarious like other man risking their life for someone who is not worth risking for. Remain optimistic and have faith you will find love again. Maybe, there is someone out there, but you can't just see her.

Clubhouse Sandwich

There are different ways and steps to prepare a delicious sandwich. First, prepare the ingredients such as bread, onions, lettuce, tomato, tuna, bacon, mayonnaise, pickles, and cheese spread. Prepare the tuna spread for the dish and separate the tuna from the oil. Cut the onions into pieces and mix the tuna, cut onions and mayonnaise in a container. Set aside the mixed tuna spread for awhile. Heat the pot to medium-low and cook the bacon until it is crispy. Toast the bread using bread toaster. As an alternative, you may use the pan for toasting. There are four layers in making the sandwich. For the first layer, spread the tuna spreading twice. Add the lettuce first, and on top of it, the cooked bacon followed by the onions and tomatoes. Add cheese spread, pickles, and top with another slice of toasted bread. Now, repeat the steps with another layer until you reach the last layer of the sandwich. Finish with the final slice of bread and cut it into quarters. Attach a cocktail or toothpick at the center of the sandwich. Wuolah! Ready to serve the special and delicious clubhouse sandwich made with love.

Life of a Cadet

This is a story of a boy named Adrian who wanted to be apart of a military organization called Citizenship and Advancement Training (C.A.T.) in his school. One day, a cadet officer approached and invited him to join the said organization. At first, he is scared and terrified but his friend Yvan, a boy scout member, encourages him to get involved in a service organization. After a week, Adrian decided to join C.A.T. organization with his classmate Rachelle. Cadet officers and staff trained them basic commands and marching. Adrian experienced a lot of punishments, difficult exercises, and physical and mental activities before reaching the highest rank and designation. 4 months later, his classmate Rachelle could not take it anymore. Adrian confronted and motivated Rachelle to continue what she had been started. However, she cannot continue it anymore; she wanted to leave the organization. Adrian asked her “Mayroon bang problema?” Even though his friend left to the organization, Adrian continued his duty as a cadet officer. He faced a lot of problems and challenges as a cadet. There were many obstacle and hindrance that he encountered. There were people who want him to go down and to surrender. Adrian’s co-cadet was trying to destroy his name in order for him to achieve the highest rank in his class but he never succeed.

In his second year as a cadet officer, Adrian still balanced his academics. On the third quarter of grading Adrian and his Mother noticed that his grades were getting low, and because of that his Mother wants him to quit and focus on his study. Adrian did not obey his mother and continued his duty as a cadet. He managed his time in order to get higher grades and to participate in C.A.T. organization. He got higher grades compare to the last and also he got promoted in his organization. In his third year as an officer, he is more disciplined, responsible, well-trained, knew how to hold and command using rifles, swords, and guidon, and more knowledgeable in survival settings. For him, this was one of the hardest moments as a cadet officer because he encountered a lot of problems and challenges. First, there were times that he committed mistakes due to inconvenience of his co-cadets. Second, another person wanted him to go down. Third, they judged him negatively and countless bad situations he faced; because of that Adrian used it as an inspiration to motivate him to do the best he could as a C.A.T. officer.

At the end of March 2015, the staff announced the next leaders of Citizenship and Advancement Training (C.A.T). We were nine in our class which means anyone of us can be designated at S7, S6, S5, S4, S3, S2, S1, Deputy Corps Commander, and Corps Commander. After years of hard work, challenges, and sacrifices; Adrian had finally achieve what he is meant to be. Unexpectedly, he is assigned and designated as a Deputy Corps Commander of Citizenship and Advancement Training (C.A.T.) School Year 2015- 2016. In his last year as a cadet, the C.A.T. organization changed its name; now, it is call as the Matthean Police Officer (M.P.O.) because of the K-12 curriculum. He and his co-staffs led and trained the M.P.O. in a military setting like C.A.T. He is now, one of the highest members of the organization. As what they had expected, the result and feedbacks of the teachers, students, and admins were all positive. Now, the day had come that he will leave the organization. It was hard for him to leave the organization because that organization taught him how to be an efficient leader, well-trained and discipline, responsible, and initiate camaraderie among cadets.
